We are honored to share that SettleEase Canada Foundation has been awarded the #BlackIdeasGrant, funded in part by @FdnBlkComm and @CdnHeritage. This recognition is more than funding—it’s an investment in our future. With this support, we’re strengthening our board through governance training, strategic planning, and capacity building, ensuring our leadership is equipped to guide the foundation with vision and excellence. We are proud to be part of a community that celebrates #BlackExcellence, uplifts bold ideas, and creates sustainable impact.
We recently hosted an engaging workshop focused on tailoring resumes for different job searches, featuring top professionals in HR and AI as speakers. Participants learned invaluable strategies to customize their CVs, enhancing their chances of landing their dream jobs. A token of appreciation was also presented to the facilitators for always supporting our programs.
Our Founder, Aanu, recently attended the Supporting Black Canadian Communities Initiatives—Black Business Initiatives (SBCCI-BBI) Conference in Halifax. This inspiring event brought together Black organizations to showcase the transformative power of community-driven initiatives.
